It's been a while...

Hello!

The My Space page (www.myspace.com/paloaltoband) seems to have become our favourite child at the moment (what with it's pretty pictures, music and lots of friends round for tea) so this page has got a wee bit ignored. So I thought I'd update everybody with what's going on.

Firstly, gigs... apologies to anyone who came down to see us at Dr. Wu's in Leeds on the 21st of November - the icy cold of Manchester trapped J and Elaine (well, that and a pile up on the M60) so we were forced to cancel. Meh. To make up for it, we're playing at Dry Bar on Oldham street in Manchester on the 29th of November, along with friends The Playmates (interestingly, Mr. Neil of The Playmates has been in two other bands Palo Alto have been associated with over the years - Chevron & Les Flames) and Vicious Cabaret.

We're then laying fallow until February - Mike is spending a month in Australia with his missus (git)... so we'll be back at The Mixing Tin on February the 1st with the lovely Mixtape people... and then back at the same venue on the 18th with Vibrations. Great stuff.

Other news? We've got a load of shiny new tunes that we'll be putting to tape next year. We're really quite pleased with 'em, and just need to get round to naming them! And that's about it.

We're off to hibernate after the 29th while Mike builds up his tan.
